On 04/24/13 between 5:30 am and 10:30 pm, suspect(s) pried the side bedroom window and removed portable safe with cash and jewelry.
400 Barrington Ave.
On 4/26/13 between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, suspect(s) entered victim’s house by smashing out a rear door window pane and then opening door. Suspect(s) ransacked bedrooms and took unknown property (victim was out of town and her sister made the report). Following day, victim called police and advised us her laptop computer had been taken.

Between 04/29/13 at 11:00 pm and 04/30/13 at 7:45 am, suspect(s) cut garage door lock and removed tools.

Note:
The numbers look good in terms of crime trends for the area. I would imagine that since I’m always complaining about people leaving things in their cars it’s only right that I give kudos when it appears that the numbers of break-ins are declining! (Or did I just jinx us?)
So keep up the good work; always, always remove or hide any items within your cars when parked and remind your family and guests to do the same. Also, the patrol officers for the area are dedicated to the area and I would encourage everyone to give a wave or hello or holler out a kind word –officers hear far too many unkind words in this line of work!
