The first in a series of FREE concerts performed by the Los Angeles Doctors Symphony Orchestra features the world premier of Orbit: A Symphonic Fantasy by Karim Elmahmoudi, composer-in-residence, who created Orbit to honor the space shuttle Endeavour and the spirit of past and future explorers and visionaries.
The concert will be held in Veterans Memorial Auditorium, which has been recently renovated and is the centerpiece of the Veterans Memorial complex at 4117 Overland Avenue in Culver City.
This performance is free to the public and has been made possible in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
