The Velveteen Rabbit is a classic story about love and how love can make a toy become real. From the wise old Skin Horse, to the arrogant, pedigree China Dog, each character brings a special kind of humor and wonder to a tale where love conquers all and each toy has its own special transformation. Featuring lively music, songs, movement, dance, magic, and mime, The Los Angeles Children’s Theater presents R.G. Cantalupo’s adaptation of Margery Williams’ classic story. A heart-warming production ideal for children of all ages.
The Velveteen Rabbit runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from December 17 to January 16, at The Black Box Theater, 12420 Santa Monica Blvd, in West Los Angeles. For more information call (310) 622-4482 or visit LATC’s website: http://www.TheBlackBoxTheater.org.
